There is some extensive information on those cues in the forums. Just use the search function. I believe that was a JOSS venture, or at least they were part of it.

I don't know if you will get much on that exact model though. What are you hoping to find out?

As long as the condition is good it sounds like you got a nice deal. Should be a good shooter.

Further more, does anyone think I would benefit to putting a new style LD Shaft??

The one on the cue has no markings so I would assume, just stock maple shaft???

Only if you like LDs

Change it only if you like LDs. LDs can take some getting used to so don't expect a quick transition if you move into a Predator or OB. I play with an LD and think they're worth it for the action I can get on the ball. But it really comes down to what you're comfortable with. If it's a nice hitting cue, then no need to tweak it unless you want to try an LD. A good production butt with an LD shaft will play just as well as the nicest cues out there, so long as the player has the skills to execute the shots. You've got a good looking cue there. Good luck!

Good deal. Falcons were made in Canada up until a few years ago. Good quality cues for a good price. Can't really go wrong. Falcon used to make the predators butts as well.

Thats what I hear, this was a joint venture with Joss when the gentleman that started falcon came to canada... its definitely Canadian made which being from Canada I love... no offese to anyone... I do own 6 american made cues :) Just nice to say I have one.

I plan to shoot with this shaft first, to see how it hits, im expecting ill enjoy it. I will keep everyone posted for sure, I wont have it out until after christmas :)

Happy Holidays!!!

Tyler cues was a venture that involved Dan Janes as their designer and Mike Sigel and Nick Varner as endorsers. They were made by Falcon in Canada.

That's a good deal. I have recently picked up an old Falcon. The shaft joint is matched to the butt joint so an LD for me right now is out of the question since I want an LD matched.

I didn't know much about Falcon til after I got mine. The stick shaft is maple, good construction, hit solid, draws like I want and so on. I had to add weight in the butt, other that its a great cue. Mine does need a refinish tho.

Does the cue you have in fact have the signature in the point area as those pictured do? If so yours may not have had the logo on the butt.

Let us know how you do with it and post some pics if you can.

Here are the photos I took of the exact cue.. it has no butt markings at all and no signatures on it, which concerned me until I seen the above photo ^ and realized they didnt show anything either.

No man. You got robbed. To make you feel better I'll buy it at half what you paid plus shipping ;) totally kidding. If its solid its worth it!

I played with a falcon for a long time and the older Canadian made models are great hitting cues for the price. For under a hundred bucks, I'd say you got a good deal.

Update: This cue hits so solid, amazing english, a lot different from my Viking, took a while to adjust, still not sure I have.

Came 5th out of 20, one shy of the payout.

Better luck this sunday, in the mean time, I need to get used to now being able to full length draw with ease!!

Chris.

It's a good cue and you got a good deal. From the pics it is in great condition as well.

Enjoy it. :)

Can someone tell me what pin I have, I am looking to get some joint protectors.

I have never learned how to figure it out.

Thanks.
