Old "Pool & Billiard Magazines": Any Collectors Out There?

Is there a market for old issues of Pool & Billiard Magazine?

I'm holding a July 1988 issue with Earl Stricland and Mike Segal on the cover: Brunswick World Open.

On the chair is a January 1996 issue with Gerda, Oliver, Efren, and Allison on the cover.

Both are in nearly perfect condition. And I have access to many many more.

Is there any collector interest in such items?

I will provide a couple of scans of the covers in a day or two.

The Peter Vitalie Invitational was in 1987. You've seen the top 4 seeds. There are 12 more pictures in seed number order high to low: Allen Hopkins, Buddy Hall, Efren Reyes, Danny Medina, Wade Crane, Kim Davenport, Mike Lebron, Grady Mathews, Jim Reid, Howard Vickery, Dave Bollman, and Jean Balukas.

65 of the Who's Who in Pool played.

I'm talking with the man who has all of these in his personal collection. He says he regrets all of the pool memorabilia he's thrown out over the years. So am I.

Nevertheless, I'm going to be working with him to sort out what he's got. You'll hear from me again when its all ready.
