Old Schon- Cheapo cue equivalent???

I have a Schon S-14 from 1981 that I love. My problem is I don't want to keep it in my car when I'm at work. After work I don't have time to go home and get it. I need to find a cheapo cue that has a similar feel (weight balance) as my S-14. I need to keep something in my car because I don't want to use a house cue.
Any suggestions?

find an older steel jointed falcon cue. I think they play very close, and i play with a schon everyday.

I used to keep my cues in the car with me all the time. Never took them out. I am playing with the same cue, a Fury RP-09, that I have been using for 4 years now and it's dead straight. I don't have a car now as I live in China and don't need one. But when I did live in North Carolina, and in fact my whole life, I have always kept my cues in the car.

Two things you need are a good cue for starters that has been made well and is not prone to warping, and a decent case to protect against the elements and dings.
