The fifth annual Old School Pool Seminar at Derby City is scheduled again for Monday, January 28th at 9 am. Price is $110 for reserved spots and $120 at the tournament itself. Three hours of specialized lessons, one hour of One pocket from One pocket Hall of Famer, Billy Incardona, one hour of Straight-pool from BCA and One pocket Hall of Famer, Danny DiLiberto, and one hour of bank pool from Bank pool Hall of Famer, Freddy the Beard Bentivegna.

This Seminar gets my official stamp of approval.

I attended the Old School Pool Seminar at Tunica with the same 3 Hall of Famer's and it was worth every penny.

There's only so much that they can cram into 1 hour segments, obviously, but even one nugget gleaned can easily pay for itself in the future, whether it be in one tournament or action match.

And, fwiw, it was surreal to be able to interact with those 3 legends. I'm not sure that I've ever laughed harder in my life at some of the things that were talked about.....

If you're even CONSIDERING going to this.......just freakin' do it!

I don't want to end this on a "strange" note, but do consider this.........these Hall of Famers won't be around forever. Just being realistic. I would have given anything to have met Grady before he passed. Now that opportunity is gone for good.

worth every penny (actually worth more than the asking price)
the opportunity to ask questions to legends of the game and learn from their experience and knowledge is priceless

one pocket segment

One pocket segment
This will be my second show with Danny and Fred, and I am going to do this show a little different than at Tunica. In Tunica I described ..in a list...the important things that I believed we should think about before playing one pocket. This trip I would like to help players with their game by going through their problematic areas, and offer my help in trying to correct their problem. After that we will go through a rack of one pocket, and I will analyze options and try to help people in understanding different concepts.

Billy, I've always wanted to know.......are you an official "Dr. of 1-Pocketry"?

Or is there an official degree in there somewhere? ;)

I'm guessin' a degree at the School of Hard Knocks.
 
you should buy billy's dvd /videos on 1 pocket
he shows you the approach to 1p rather than certain shots
teach someone how to fish not give them a fish
freddys treatise on one pocket should be required reading for all aspiring
1p players

how could i not point out the obvious that freeddys banking books and dvds are must buys for aspiring bankers
