Due to a new job, and the fact that I have no time to play at all anymore, I must sell a few of the things that I have laying around.
This is a Joss cue that I bought new in 1995 or 1996. I paid $625 at that time. The cue is a great shooter. It is 19.5 ounces. Joint is 5/16-14. The inlays at the butt end are snakewood!
The veneers have one spot where the red ran into the rest of the cue (as shown in pic). It doesn't hurt anything, but I wanted to make sure that I mentioned it.
I sold the cue to a friend of mine, but he did not take care of it the way that he should have. I couldn't stand it, so I bought it back from him. It has several small nicks in the finish, and also one good sized one in the ferrule. He said this came from a tip pik gone wild.
Also as you can see in the pics, the shaft is dirty and will need a good cleaning. I would say that the cue is in 80-85% of what it could be. The butt of the cue has a small wobble, shaft is straight. (I think this came from him leaving the cue in his car all the time).
Anyways, I hope whoever gets this cue will appreciate it more than this other guy did. I am going to price it cheap enough so that someone can get a higher end cue for a starter price. $250 shipped obo
