olhausen 5x10

we just recently got a snooker table in town that is an olhausen 5X10 with simonis felt , accufast cushions, aramith balls. Here is what threw me a loop on the table the balls are 2 1/4 and the accufast cushions are flat on the faces. which make for a pretty tough table anybody else play with the standard size balls?

Yes that makes it a tough combination. I use the 2 1/16 on my 12' table and could not imagine how tough it would be with the anything bigger. Try the 2 1/16 and you will see a difference.

the local snooker place where I go (Caspers in San Leon Tx) has a set of 2&1/4 American Snooker and 2 1/8 British snooker. Keep in mind that this is for a 12ft table.

I never use them because I have my own set of aramith crystalate that I bring with me. The ones they have are also dirty and unpolished.


Snooker with the larger stuff sucks, because you end up needing to use a regular cue.

I play with 2 1/8" snooker balls at home when I play snooker, but most of the time I play pool on the snooker table. I really like what it does for my pool game on the smaller tables with bigger pockets.
