olhausen or knock off?? help!!!!

hello all ,i have a guy trying to sell me a 9 ft olhausen table its in kinda bad shape he ses that it has a crack all along one of the slates but u cant tell and the black paint is coming off where the rails are and if he didnt say it was olhausen id sayit was a fairly cheap table the legs look like a normal box leg .he want 450 for it is it possible to try and sell a knock off by putting a tag on it??oh the slate did look like 1 inch and it all looked like hardwood ,what u guys think should i buy or not

Personally, if I didn't have a "warm and fuzzy" about the table, and I had doubts, I would stear clear. If you are not happy going into the deal, you will always have reservations about it years from now. Make certain you are going to be satisfied with whatever you are going to purchase. Sometimes the cheapest priced product is not the best buy for the money. JMO

thanxz for the input im not going to purchase it ,friend of mine sed that the top might be olhausen but the legs arentand maybe thats y the black paint is fading and chipping to compensate for the black legs the rails had to be painted i guess lol ,the cracked slate is what scared me away i just need some input and u did make a lot of sense thanxz again
