nice to see Mr. Ortmann win the 14.1 championship, he's always been one of my favorite players to watch. hopefully this title will propel him onward and get him playing over here more.
when i first took up this hobby he was playing in the Challenge of the Champions against Kung Fang Lee, that was the first episode of 9-Ball i watched on ESPN back in 1998. still have it on tape somewhere. i guess you could say that Ortmann and Strickland are the two favorite male players, the ones i really enjoy watching in person and/or on TV. had the chance to watch Ortmann at the BCA a few years back, and got to speak to him for a few moments too.
anyway, nice work Oliver, hope this causes a big time resurgence for your career!
