Just got this beautiful bem 5/16-14 half joint from Jeff. This cue plays as good as any cue you can get. It by far exceeded my expectations. Jeff just started making these half joint cues. He is one of the most underated cue makers out there. Anyone who is considering buying a new custom cue should definitely consider an Olney. I will definitely be ordering another one.

Very nice!!! I have a similar cue with his more standard 3/8-10 pin and wood-wood joint. It's a great playing cue and I love it, the quality of his work is amazing. I'd love to try one of these ss 1/2 joints sometime, I bet they play great.
 
Very nice cue there! I totally agree that Jeff is one of or not thee most underated cuemakers out there! What kind of ferrules are on those shafts?
 
Jeff's cues are fantastic! They are definately worth 10X the money you pay. Great hit and a fantastic guy to deal with. I have 2 SW style and a Jump cue. They just keep getting better & better.

I am jealous. That cue looks like the ultimate player! I am a huge fan of the plain BEM cues. I bet the 1/2 SS has a great hit. All of Jeff's stuff is top notch! Keep it up Jeff.
 
Thats a sweet looking cue. And I got to agree with all the other
posters above me. Jeff Olney is one hell of a cue builder thats for sure.
Congrats on the new cue, it just looks like a monster player.

Thanks for the kind words everyone. The ferrules are micarta and the tips are wizards. This cue is definitely a monster player. Remy, I know you will be more than pleased when your new cue arrives. Keep me posted.
