Omin to Ohman

Hi Friends,

About a year ago i was visiting the omin snooker cue shop and while looking around his shop i found some interesting pieces of woods lying there.I really liked the woods and i asked omin if he would give me those woods and he gladly agreed to give them to me for a small price.
I immidiately had a cuemaker in my mind and i talked to him and sent him all the woods, unfortunately the woods kept lying with the cuemaker for many months as he was really busy with orders already in hand. So i had to think an alternate, so i asked this cuemaker to send the woods to another cuemaker i.e. pete ohman
He readily agreed to turn these woods into a nice cue. I am a huge fan of South West style ringwork so i asked him to make the ringwork, though he insisted on making something different but i insisted that i want this particular ringwork on my cue.The woods are Black and white ebony and curly koa.The cue will have matching joint protectors and a matching predator shaft.Should be completed soon and i will post final pics when i recieve the cue.
Pete has been excellent to deal with.

Enjoy the pics

Pete's work

Pete's work is great. I have 2 on the way. I will post a picture of the one he just made for me as soon as I take a picture.

Omen

The one I have is a PJ cocobolo. The new ones are going to be HIGHLY figured birdseye hoppe PJ's with 1 really cool inlay in each. I can't wait.

Thanks Guys, as of now i am not planning to sell this cue, but i am very inclined towards buying my friends ed prewitt cue. So if i get what i put into this cue i might let it go, but still 70% chance i wont:thumbup:
