This tournament happens once a year and is the biggest in Northern California. It is a pleasure working with so many great players.

The owners of Hard Times have totaled more than $35,000 a year, in added money for their weekly, monthly and yearly tournaments. They do 'give back' and for that, I thank them.

Paying Since Age 17, Now Age 40, Still Pays

TOM IN CINCY HAS THE WORST LUCK ON THE PLANET. PAYING SINCE AGE 17, AND 4O YEARS LATER IS STILL PAYING. THAT IS WHAT HIS POST SAID. I AM GOING TO FRAME IT ON MY WALL. MAYBE I SHOULD HANG IT UP ON HARD TIME'S WALL IN SACRAMENTO. WHAT TO DO. WHAT TO DO.

That's a nice newsletter, Tom. Great article. Hard Times in Sacramento looks like a great place to shoot pool, too! Thanks for sharing. :)

Good luck with the tourney. And thanks again for putting up On the Break, Tom. It's always a fascinating thing to read through. Makes me think people really like driving out West, considering how far apart all those rooms and tourneys are, but it's amazing to see it all in one publication.

And ya gotta love those log tables advertised on the back page.
