Hey there Keith. I was flipping through ebay today looking for some instructional material when I ran accross this . I immediatly recognized you, then I read the description, is this match for real? I have to hear your input on this, if it's as good as it sounds I might just have to pick it up and see for myself.
 
Buddha Jones, the tape is for real. There is a lot of things that you can't hear when we are talking to each other, but as far as everything being on the square, it was. It's a fun tape. We all had fun doing it. I think the guy who taped it was Jay Helfert.
 
You guys got me thinking when I saw the 1- handed post. I went through my tapes, and I have the match you're talking about. It's 1- pocket, Keith and Harry Platis alternating shots vs Ronny Allen (who has to shoot every other shot 1 -handed) 5 ahead for 10 large. It's a great tape, maybe 4 hours long. It gets good when they all start barkin at eachother, and I believe Weenie Beenie and Danny DiLiberto are on a close by table trying to make a game, because thier voices are easy to pick out in a crowd.


Hey Keith,
I also have a match with Danny DiLiberto vs Ronny Allen for the world one pocket finals, and it's gotta be the same time as the above match right?. I think it was in 1988, races to 5, best of 3 sets. I watched it again last night and they keep showing you and Harry in the stands. You look like you're about 18 years old:). I think Ronny even uses Harry to do a demonstration between sets?..Later...Gerry
