One line of advice...

Just to be upfront, I stole this question from another forum.

What is the best one liner of advice that really helped your game?

I have two favorites:

1) Anyone can feel the cue hitting the cueball, but when you get to the point when you can "feel" the cueball hitting the object ball, you know you're in deadstroke.

2) When you finally get 'em by the balls, don't stop squeezin.

Keep 'em short and sweet if you don't mind. With all the killers in this forum, I'm sure there are plenty out there that not many of us have heard.

Zim, I heard that! Nothin better than watching a couple of kick-ass players get it on.

Respect few, Fear none.

Tell that to my bridge hand when, looking at that long straight in nine ball, it's shaking like a wet dog.

Imagine yourself shooting the 9ball when it's close to the rail and the CB is not too far from it and you bank it under your arm and in the corner pocket behind you. Now shoot the shot, don't look back to see if it drops, and say "it's got eyes in the back of the head!" DAN D heard that one from someone sometime and it's the smoothest quote I've heard, but you have to imagine the set up perfectly!!
