One of These Days

One of these days, when I get the available funds. I will have a cue made for me with the details/materials I want, and when that day comes I will have the wood for the forearm at least.

I snaged this a few weeks ago and just got it today. One pretty piece of wood.

It's a 1 1/2 x 1 1/2 x 15 inch piece of "old growth" Birdseye Maple that was sank on it's way to the mill 160 years ago and recovered from 180 feet of water in Georgian Bay.

I think I got the last or next to last piece of this the guy was selling and I missed out on some stuff he had eariler that looked really really nice. If and when you turn any of that down, I sure would like to see how it turns out (so to speak).
