Okay.......3 weeks until another rotator cuff surgery..... this means no pool again for 3-4 months.....Ugh!

Been down this road way too many times & it's just a horrible experience but there is something to look forward to.

One of these cues is mine and even though I love how it's coming along but I must also admit I like the other designs as well.

I am intrigued, almost enthralled with cue-making....it is an art form unto itself & viewing cues in progress is a real kick.

And One of them is Mine!

Hey Matt,

Which one is yours? The one I chose is second on the left. I can even see my name on the handle section. Pretty exciting stuff going on over there!

Brandon......You Sure Do Know My Taste In Cue Designs

Brandon...............How's do you like the play of your new ebony cue......it's looks like a Ninja weapon.....the ivory joint & ring just completes the cue's appearance........like I wrote, it's genuinely does look like a real weapon.

Now I have to work on deciding which inlays I'll use for the points & the boxed veneers........I have about a dozen different styles in mind and deciding which to use is really difficult. I may just let Bob make the choice if I am unable to make up my mind.....the butt cap is ivory and will include my initials and the veneers are black, peacock, royal purple and white......I can't wait to see how the ring design will turn out........it is going to be an indexing nightmare to complete.....still a few months off.

It hits great and I think I like the name "Ninja" for the cue. But we know Bob's cues hit great. That's why I ordered of 2 Bob's cue after hitting with yours for less than 20mins.

The Ninja was ordered with 1 regular shaft ivory ferrule kamui medium brown and I wanted to try 1 of Bobs performance shafts with a kamui medium brown as well. I am liking the regular shaft with the Ivory Ferrule better and will probably order the next cue with two regular shafts Ivory ferrule.

As far as Cue designs, my cue it's will have Ivory boxes with matching veneers in the butt and in the points I am stealing a page out of Dean's book and putting Fleur De Lis inside the points. Solid Ivory Ring before and after joint to match The Ebony Ninja.

That's one of the style inlays I have in mind........saw it on the cue Bob made for his son, Gabe, that's in the Gallery and also some Manzino & Tonkin cues.

I am also leaning toward something traditional, like fancy peacock in the points and opposing fancy spears in the boxed veneers but the elegance of some other inlays is so darn appealing.

I'll try to narrow down my choices to 3 or 4 and ask Bob to help choose which one to use. He'll know the spacing and size of the inlays and the boxed veneers, etc. I want to keep everything size proportional in this design and Bob has such a keen eye for cue designs, I really can't go wrong.
