Tim Scruggs sneaky pete. Original owner, custom ordered directly from Tim at his shop. Didn't like the TS stamped between the points so I asked to have the logo 2" up from the butt. Receipt will accompany the cue to new owner. No joint or butt cap, just a dark rosewood sneaky and it was made exactly is I ordered it.

Details - very good condition, a few very small dings, only one goes through the finish, haven't had it weighed or measured, but I assume it is 19.25 oz, with 12.5mm tip. This cue is just as it left Tim's shop in 95 (no refinish, original tip, bumper, etc.), and I assume weight and tip are as ordered. Butt and shaft roll straight, shaft smooth and shows a little bluing from play. A little bluing noticable at joint.

Plays great as all Scruggs do. This and my 6 point Kingwood were my 2 rotating cues for about 10 years (which was about once a week) until I picked up the ivory joint Titlist conversion (about 18.4 oz as I play better with a lighter cue) and then the Scruggs cues became backups.

Have picked up a few cues recently and time to sell a couple. No trades. Now $600 for cue shipped and insured (signature in person will be required).. Will include Paypal fees at $600. So that price includes all fees. I'm going no lower, it is still happy in my case and hands. No trades.

Pictures in my public gallery. May sell another cue or so in the near future.

Also a soft It's George case in excellent condition.

You should cover your name and address.

You should think about showing an adress of any date. Carefull is best. I would have maybe covered everything but the price. Appoligies for any misunderstanding.
Nick :)

I agree

Didn't know you had X-ray vision. Your guess is not too far from what I paid nearly 20 years ago, but holds little relevance on the value in todays market.

In 1995 gold was just under $400/oz, recently trading just under $1600/oz. That is for a commodity and not nearly as scare as a one of a kind TS sneaky pete.

I have long since moved from that address or I would have covered that too. Not like someone is going to try to break in for an $800 pool cue. Many people here have single cues much more valuable than all mine combined.

Doesn't change the provenance of this unique cue.
George's cues where $75 to $150 now thousands, and for gold in 1995 it was $250 an oz... Just my 2 cents Dom

Nick offered a good point.

Nick offered some good insight, it was one of the earlier sneakies that are more sought after, with earlier pricing. His more recent sneakies were much more, and not as heralded players as the earlier ones.

So here is a bump for a truly unique, stellar playing Scruggs sneaky!

(CANCELLED) no case with sale

No case with sale but lowered price on cue.

Receipt...

I discussed what I wanted in depth with Tim, and he made it from scratch for me. Obviously this is not an elaborate cue, but he had to get the rosewood and make it from the start, and put the logo at the bottom the way I wanted. Attached is a picture of the invoice.

I apoligize for the additional post less than an hour from my last, but I was limited in the pictures I could post initially, and wanted to include this one for validity. I will wait 48 hours before I post again (unless it gets sold).

Bump and change in sale, $650 without case

Bump.

Modifying sale now to only include cue for $650 shipped and insured. Payment by Paypal only so add 4%, or send as gift. There are a couple AZers who will vouch for me so it is your call.

Thanks!

Bump for a monster player

Bump for a one of a kind monster playing Scruggs sneaky pete. I only play 1-2 times a month and have been recently using other cues. Pulled it out this past weekend and played about half an hour with it, and some with other cues. This Scruggs is just so solid. Thinning out the collection and considering letting this one go, but $650 including fees is the lowest I will go. Otherwise it will stay in the case.

No trades.

Thanks!

Bump for all fees included...

$650 including all fees now (shipping, insurance and Paypal). No lower, no trades. You will never find a Scruggs this sneaky and plain, with guaranteed provenance.

Bump for an awesome classic Scruggs sneaky pete

VERY UNIQUE all original Scruggs sneaky pete now $600 including shipping, insurance and PayPal fees; or $550 CASH local pickup in the Columbia MD area.

Bump

Bump for a great cue. One in lesser condition just sold on eBay for 650. Another one in refinished condition here on AZ for 700. This one is 600 on the road, and with original sales receipt; doesn't get better than that.
