I have decided to play with a one piece. Its a 1920-1921 Brunswick.
I got it from a pawn shop for 7.50 over 10 years ago. (sales person told me it sold new for 22.50! LOL) AnyWhoo' The cue hits so good i cant resist. Its a full splice 4 points Brazilian rosewood.
NEEDED: The butt of this cue is way to fat. So im looking (IF POSSIBLE),
to turn it down. I also would like a very hard hitting ferrule put on.
I need someone who can do it, and not change the original taper very much at all, if any. Just need it a bit thinner. Also need the shaft sanded just a hair, keeping the same taper. Just enough sanding on the shaft to clean it up, and make it smooth again. Think i want to add about 4-6" on the back length. Cue is to short for me. Finished like it was made in 1920's. (or similar)
I need the work done in a very reasonable time frame, as its going to be my full time playing cue.
Im open to suggestions on what can and how it should be done, less turning it into a 2 piece. That's not going to be done on this one. Hits too good
