This was in 2004 and Danny DiLiberto seems to have not known about this shot, it has been used by many players in recent times. Who was the first player to come up with this shot, was it Efren?
I've got that match on DVD. BP wins in a long battle. Helluva shot. You could see Billy shakin his head. Don't blame him.

I defy anyone here to shoot that shot as well as Efren in 10 tries. I gave up after 3 tries

To be fair I have seen Efren shoot that 2 railer a dozen times and thats his best. You do realize he is playing the cueball and never expects to make the ball.I defy anyone here to shoot that shot as well as Efren in 10 tries. I gave up after 3 tries
Ah, my post said shoot it 'as well' as Efren. To be fair I have seen Efren shoot that 2 railer a dozen times and thats his best. You do realize he is playing the cueball and never expects to make the ball.

Was Freddy Bentivegna the first person to come up with this shot?Easier on a Gold Crown. On Diamond it's not as effective but has to lay just right. Freddy the Beard used to call it the into the round shot.
How many times playing 9 ball did a poorly hit come off a point and go in another pocket? Was Freddy Bentivegna the first person to come up with this shot?
