Is normal rules cueball fouls only? If so,lets say a shooter is bridging over an object ball and, after striking the cueball, the cue stick moves a ball. The cueball travels hitting whatever and then returns to the area where the ball was moved with the cuestick. Would this be considered a foul? The cueball did not hit the ball that was moved with the cuestick, but it may have rolled in the area where that ball was.Seems to be different opinions on this.
Another question I have is it normal that 3 fouls in a row is lose of game?

thanks

Under cue ball fouls only, if the position can't be restored to what it would have been without the accidental movement, it's a foul. For your shot above, maybe the cue ball would have hit the ball that was moved. If so, it's a foul. If, "No, no, that ball was over there before I moved it and the cue ball never would have hit it," then you have a "discussion."

Also, many players play that if you move 2 or more balls under "cue ball fouls" it is a foul. See the rules on onepocket.org

3 fouls is generally for tournaments but some matches use the rule.

cue ball foul only

If you move two or more balls its a foul. If you move one ball its not, no matter what the path of the cue ball, so long as the ball was moved during the act of shooting.

Three foul is up to the players, most wont for the cash.
