I am really sorry for making a new thread but just can`t figure this out. If a player X shoots a ball and makes it into his pocket simultaneously pocketing a ball into Y's pocket. What happens?

I am really sorry for making a new thread but just can`t figure this out. If a player X shoots a ball and makes it into his pocket simultaneously pocketing a ball into Y's pocket. What happens?

x keeps shooting, y keeps the ball. If y only needed one ball, he wins. If the shooter x only needs one ball, he wins. If there is a spot involved and they are both game ball for x & y, I think the shooter wins, but not sure.
