Kolby’s Corner Pocket Billiards in Tempe, Arizona will host this $1,000 guaranteed added event Nov 6-7, 2010.

Note: NOW $1,500 added!

Eligibility: Tournament open to everyone except the Top 50 professional men players in the world - as ranked by AZBilliards.com Money List.

Entry Fee: $100 (including all green fees/registration/and TD fees). Field is limited to the first 32 players that sign up and turn in their entry fee.

  • First place: $1,500
  • True double elimination.
  • Race to 3 both sides.
  • 3 foul rule.
  • Rack your own.
  • 4 balls in the kitchen rule.
  • Starts at 12 Noon both days.

LAST? What is the One Pocket Rule, about 4 balls in the kitchen? Askin because I do not know?

The 4 ball in the kitchen rule is used in 1-pocket tournaments to speed up play. If at the end of a player's turn there are more than 4 balls in the kitchen the extra ball or balls are spotted.

Thank you for the reply, it was something I did not know before. Last ball to roll in kitchen sported, or players choice?

Also, taking sign-ups starting Oct. 1 from the first 32 that register.
 
With the top 50 listed money players barred from this event, and the $1500 added money, you would think this event will be a big hit.

Because it is a weekend one pocket tournament, it is extremely attractive to people like myself who are becoming ADDICTED to weekend tournaments.

I may have to check out the hotel situation in Tempe, AZ. A stand-by ticket may not be that expensive either.

Hope it is a big success.

If I win the BIG MONEY best weekend Bar Table Tournament in America October 23-24, you will see me there for sure. :D

Sign ups for the Southwest 1-Pocket Shoot Out officially begin today:

the first signee is Bernie Pettipiece, Arizona's current 14.1 champion

That leaves only 31 spots open.
