One pocket. What’s the play?

This is what the shot looks like in VP in isolation. (I don't want to spend the time to get all the other rack balls perfect.) As you can see from how far the cue ball goes, it doesn't require all that much force. It is a thinner cut than most like. It is a chance to win the game immediately and the cue ball is unlikely to scratch after multiple kisses with that relatively low speed. Of course the side pocket scratch is out of the equation due to the other rack balls. I'm still banking the 4.:giggle:

Thanx, Bob....I could make those shots enough that I had a right to go for them.
As a kid, I could see dead on shots and 90 degree cuts way beyond my skill level.

Here is a whole website full of stuff -- including bank shots -- that you need to know about pool but probably don't. It's got lots and lots of videos with additional explanation. Good luck with your game.

Thank you for the link Bob. I was the best banker at the hall I frequented. In two ways. I banked balls the best and was good at handing out money!!!!Everything up to 5 rails. No problem. Without a system. Just repetition. Not anymore though.that was 20years ago.
So I still don’t like the 4! 😉

How does the CB avoid all the balls in the stack to get to the first rail so straight?
