Online Pool/Snooker?

Hi folks,

First of all, if this is posted in the wrong section, please feel free to move it to the appropriate area.

I just wanted to dip my toe in the water and ask if many people here, play online pool/snooker at all?

From what I see, online pool/snooker took a tumble and a lot of early sites closed down, but it appears to be coming back, with a new generation of platforms and classy looking options (2D & 3D)

I was just playing virtual pool on my iPad with online opponents. Johnny T would love it. You can't jump!

I play on cuesportz.com when I get some free time at work. It's a pretty realistic game with pool, snooker and english 8 ball.

From my experiences, the "best" don't always float to the top of search engines, so you have to look loong & hard for those.

Some present themselves to look elite, but once you play the game, they can be very tacky or dated.

I've found around 7-8 good 2D/3D platforms around the net, but sure there are many more .... yet to be discovered!!
