Black Boar Cue

sheesh youd have a hard time sellin it for $2000. the cue aint that special dude.

For 2000 dollars you would have people lining up to buy that cue and I would definitely be one of them. :D

yeah 2000 would be a REAL bargain...

I would say...5000 is the upper limit...maybe 7, but I think it'll be closer to 5

not sure where the seller got the hopeful idea that his bb is worth the cost of a M3, but hey, good luck to him.

Apparently some people have failed to detect the sarcasm in my post...so for the record...it's not my cue.

I agree with buddha, $5K would be the upper end of what the cue would bring. I also found the "perhaps the most most beautiful cue ever made" comment amusing. It is a beautiful cue, but far not the most beautiful I have ever seen. But that's just my $.02. I guess if you are going to ask $57K for a cue, you better make statements like that one.

being a black boar, and being that you can't get a the maker to make you a black boar at this time (who knows when he'll be taking orders again) i'd say he might (keyword here might) get close to 10 for it (maybe more). didn't have very good pics but it looked like alot of detail (as all black boars are very meticulus) and work.

2000 is about the area that a standard 4 point black boar with just about no specialty work at all would sell for.

hell if he'd sell it for 3000 i'll drive to arizona with the cash in hand to pick it up :D

man he has lost his mind....he should take a look at the black boar on the cuesnthings website that is up for sale for 15 grand.....a much fancier cue than this one.....i would say that it is by far the most beautiful cue they have ever built and way less than half the money......if it means that much he will definitely have it for a while........nice cue though but not 57k worth .......thats just my opinion.....juston

I just looked at it and the auction was closed due to errors in price...my guess is that it is starting at $3500 with buy-it-now at $5700. Probably added too many zeros, but this is definately a beautiful cue. NOT the most beautiful in the world, though...lol. BTW, I traded a plain-jane Chris Nitti and $900 for an '88 black boar...love it!

That sounds more in line with the market.

Do the dirty wine glasses come with it for 57K????

That did add a nice touch. Maybe he should have waited, until after the laundry was put away, to take the pictures. ;) If anyone is selling a cue for that kind of money, I would expect the photography to be done by a professional.

The starting bid is still the same. He better fix this error ASAP coz bidders might think this is a hoax (no wonder nobody's making a bid). If you'll ask me if I have that kind of money...I'll be having my collection of ER cues and a new SUV! :D

If your gonna ask that kinda jack for somethine you'd better have a better explaination of it than its the most beautiful cue ever. How about telling us about those inlays, or the history of the cue...something.

I would have bid $36,000 and not a penny more just for the joint portectors alone. BTW how well does a BB play in real life?

Sarcasm intended.
