Hello,
I have 1 Kamui Gator Grip tools available.
I was able to get 0 ebony and 1 maple. The ebony ones are a limited edition and I am not sure when I am going to be able to get more.

Good question.
This can be used for all layered tips... No need to use this tool on triangles, LePros and other non-layered tips.

No sure what do you mean but usually the non-layered tips rarely get dull or shiny when you miscue.
With a layered tip like a kamui, moori, even some buffalo layered tips and when you miscue, doesn't the tip look shiny where you miscued?
By using the gator Grip and instead of using a slammer and denting the tip, using the Gator Grip will scuff the tip enough to make it perfect to play again.
