Due to the success of the APA format tourney, Pool Table Magic has decided to offer up this Thanksgiving tournament. Since the Joss tour and most the locals have nothing planned, mark this on your calander.

Open 9 ball tournament

$500.00 guaranteed First place

$ 50.00 dollar entry fee

Tex Express rules

Doors open at 10:30 am, tourney starts at 12 noon SHARP

Must be in attendance and PAID by time of the draw, no call ins from Branford at 11:55!!!!!!

Race to 7 on the winners and 5 on the losers (double elimination)

Remember the APA format tourney had 250 first place and ended up paying $ 300.00!!!!!!

No an IPT event.. you will get paid that day !!!!! and we won't grope ya!!! unless you ask nicely :)
 
Turn out was very nice for a non-advertised tourney.. payouts were 500/200/75 and the tourney was won by Kevin G over Tommy S, Jr.

There will be many more tournaments, many APA handicapped / rules tourneys.

Also that night was a 20 dollar 8 ball tourney won by AZ's own Railbird. We had a great time and its a shame no one else could make it.

It's an understatement to say we had a great time, the 9-ball tournament ran smoothly and had a pretty decent field of players, unfortunately I came up alittle short in that one. The 8-ball tournament was also enjoyable, especially since I won which paid for my weekend adventure to Connecticut.
The new Pool Table Magic room is very comfortable with all kinds of Billiard Memorabilia for your viewing pleasure, the tables are spaced out nicely, the atmosphere is verying inviting, the staff are very eager to attend to your requests and the owner Mark couldn't be any more accommodating.
I'll definately be making more trips to Connecticut.
