Open Thank You to Leslie Anne Rogers

Last Saturday Leslie Anne Rogers stopped by our billiard parlor in Saint Louis. What a great example for the world of pool you are Leslie! While practicing Leslie helped out people with their stroke, let others try out her new cue and was a total pleasure to have in our parlor. Afterwards she signed some autographs. We proudly had your signed photo you gave us mounted on our wall tonight. We know you were on your way to a tourny (in Michigan City. IN?) and wanted to wish you the best of luck there. You are a class act and we extend an open invitation for you to come back anytime! Thanks again Leslie, it was our pleasure to have you play in our room. Sincerely, Everyone at Cue & Cushion.

Leslie & Leslie (Leslie Ann Rogers hubbys name is also Leslie) both used to play in a weekly tournament that I ran in TX. I never had a problem out of them. They were always so nice and I recall them always willing to help people out.

They're very nice people in a world of some questionable people.

People on here are so quick to point out the bad and so slow to point out the good. Thanks for the positive post cueandcushion.

Leslie (her husband, aka Doc) was at one time a Master level BCA instructor as well. He is a wealth of knowledge, particularly when it comes to the physics side of the game.

You are absolutely right Timberly. My family has run a billiard parlor for 40 years now. The people that stand out these days are not the whiners, complainers, or the problem makers. Those are the norm. The polite ones, the considerate ones, the people with moral convictions and manners are the people that stand out in a crowd. I always try and let those people know how special they are ( giving them 1/2 off coupons or free t-shirts) because I know society in general has a tendency to ignore them. Most attention is paid these days to the troublemakers. Just a sign of the times I guess. Leslie was letting every good player AND bad player try out her OB shaft to let them see how it hit. Not all pool players lend out their expensive cues for just anyone to try out. Like I said before. Classy lady! Guys take note, the WPBA is more successful these days with the general public for a reason. Good luck again Leslie! Craig...
