Opinion on a Frank Paradise

Thanks Nick and Chris, your opinions are helpful even if its not something i would like to hear! These are not things I havent heard of before, as joe (classic) has stated, its a great conversation piece. I would probably like to take Chris's advice and seek out Paul Rubino. Maybe he can give me some more insight. Originally, I wanted to make money off this cue, but its not that important to me anymore (Although money never hurts). What I would like to be able to do is sell or trade it in for a nice mottey or white.
So until I can make that happen, It will stay with me until I can better authentication! Thanks again.

I am mike bosones grandson and it is imperitave that i find that cue any info on how to locate it is worth the time and effert he is old and i want nothing more than to aquire that cue please call me at 631-413-7247 . My name is anthony

Jv i was curious to know if by any chance that you or the buyer of the cue would be kind enough to make me an offer for the purchase of cue as well as having the honor of seeing after so many years of the cue being absent from our family .it would mean alot to myself as well as my grandfather who is 86yrs of age .the nostalgia of such an item would bring back some fine memories to a man who did some amazing things for the sport of pool ,such a long time ago please contact me as we have alot of questions im sure we can answer to one another ,see you soon

paradise or not

I hesitated from comenting on this stick since it came to my attention that it turned up online. This stick was stolen from bayside billiard club many years ago. It was my fathers stick and was given to my nefew as a gift. he was very upset at the loss and til this day would love to get it back. Two things for the record, mike bosone, is still alive and doing well. he was indeed a great promoter in his day and when i told him that the stick was found online and there was some discussion as to weather it was a paradise or not, he said just ask me. He told me the stick originally came from portugal and that frank only did the tips and made the third shaft for him and put his name in the but. If anyone knows the whereabouts of this stick now, i would love to make an offer on it to get it back.
 
Anyways, this story has a happy ending. My customer agreed to sell Tony the cue at his cost.

Lesson 1: If you have a cue stolen, get the police report. Document the hell out of each cue you buy, do not be afraid to get a receipt from a dealer, or even a private seller.

Lesson 2: Dealers should take down all the information when you do a deal when it's with someone you don't know. Take his license info, whatever you can get.
