Opinion on a router?

Im a brand new builder, long time repair guy. When it comes to a router (my way for now) It seems like it has to come down to the fabricated mount. Ok, Fine. But different ppl are shitting on Bosch, Rigid, Porter cable etc etc.. Could somebody help me head in the right direction for a mount and router? Been ready to get set up. Hightower Mid Size, power feed etc. thanx

I like the Makita mini router.
But I've used the Rigid, and Ryobi laminate trimmers with no issues.
For Points, I use a 1/2" Porter cable, because I like using a Vee bit with a 1/2" shank. My holder for the Router is Custom built.

Thanks for the i put guys. I ended up settling on the rigid. Plus I found it with a sander from home depot for $89.00, which is cheaper than the router alone.

I like my Rigids. I've been replacing my Porter Cables with them as the Porter's meet their eventual end.

I'm probably going to have to replace my porter cables at some point also, but I have been easily changing switches, brushes, and bearings as needed to keep them going.
