opinion predator, or custom cue??

Ive been shooting with schons and predators throughout my pool career.. I cant decide if i want to shoot purchase another predator or a custom cue. The thing is that i know the hit of a predator and am very happy with it, however, i would like to have a cue that is original. The problem I'm facing is that for the money of a custom cue i do not know how they hit! Many look fantastic however, i haven't hit with anything other than a mike miller. Please give me some input on some custom cues that hit great that are in a range of up to about 1500, and if you are selling any please reply with pictures.. thanks a lot!! mark :)
