Opinion? Wide on Polyurethane

I have tried Wide on Polyurethane on my cue shaft and like it. But drying time is the problem. I now use Shellac because of the fast dry time and like it just as well.

But for refinishing Butts could I use Wide on Polyurethane and get good results? I don't want to try and spray Polyurethane. BTW I have a home made lathe that will spin a Butt.

A poor finish that is soft and will yellow badly ... You can spray automotive with the jar-can assisted sprayers ... you must seal and level cue before spraying . With your homemade lathe you can wetsand and buff and have a finish like the pros ... Easier said than done ...

Might depend on the brand of Polyurethane. What are you looking at using?
