Opinions of new X-Breaker

Just wondering how everyone is liking the new X-Breaker? I've had mine now for a couple of weeks and I don't think I'm in love with it like I was with the original. I've let a lot of other players also try it and no one really is giving it a great review. I went home last night and changed the weight of the cue (with the weights Richard supplies) to see if it will make a difference.

Good
- cue ball control is very good
- jumping is amazing

Bad
- chaulk comes off leaving blue lines on table (although I didn't see that last night so it might of been only while the tip gets broke in)
- Pop - it doesn't seem to really make the balls explode like the original.
- Sound - it almost sounds like glass or a ting (like when metal woods first came out in golf).
- results - I'm just not making balls with it yet. I'm having better results with a house cue.

Anyway, I'm just curious of others opinions. I'm hoping its User Error and that the weight change will help me out.

The lines are something that start to diminish as the tip breaks in, I noticed this with the last model.

The Breaks I get are better then the old one. I will admit it took me a week or 2 to get used to the new one but once I did I am breaking better then with the last model.

The sound is similar to the old one to me.

Results. Just last Sunday I will shooting with my father and I was regularly making 3 balls on the snap in 9 ball and leaving the white in the center.

Overall I love the cue, It took me a week or 2 to get used to this model but once used to it, its great.

you have great taste in cues icon, is that an ebony frey? how do you like the x shaft compared to freys shaft?

also i hope to be giving a review of the new x347 in the coming weeks

Its a Rosewood Frey. I like the X Shaft a lot, but I like Frey's shaft too. they both hit great. Just like a change now and then. I do love the sniper tip on the X Shaft though.

My father actually owns an Ebony one.
