Opinions on flaws in a new cue?

gforces1911

i think everyone is right. esp sean. a cuemaker that cant even line the rings up or doesnt know to is ovb not a 2000$ caliber cuemaker.

i have one question after he told you basically to screw yourself and he wouldnt fix it. why didnt you post pics and the name of the cuemaker. power is in numbers and alot of ppl on here can help you get results.

im sure the guy would rather fix your cue or replace it rather that loose thousands of dollars in sales on here.

By not revealing the name of this cuemaker or showing pics of his work,
you're actually doing a dis-service to evreyone that views this forum and all those who in the future would order a cue from this person. It's like the girl that gets raped and goes to the police. When asked about her assailant, she says "yeah, I know who it is but I can't tell you". (Reply) Well, sorry honey but we can't help you.
How many more are going to get shafted ? If you weren't going to name names then you should have never brought the subject up.

i think he did the right thing by asking when he was unsure then giving the cuemaker a chance to fix the prob.

now that the cuemaker said he wont fix it. now its time to reveal the name and show some pics. then we as a family can force the issue a little. this cuemaker stands to loose a few sales. i think hell come around :D :D :D

I buy old hand-made cues and there are always little things about them, so I am not looking for perfection, but at least they were trying to do the best they could with what they had to work with. That's always something I respect.

Chris

ive passed on a few palmers that the inlays were very bad.

1 model I with a szamboti forearm but the guy wanted way too much for it. inlays looked like my 8 yr old son did it.
