Here is an old Willie Hoppe cue that I've had for some time now. What do you guys think about it, I can't seem to find the exact model in the Blue Book.

Bogey is correct. I have one just like it, but not in quite as good condition as yours. Planning on doing a conversion early this year. Looking for a couple more.

I have a similar one but have been told it is a later Adams blank rather than a Titleist. Told the black label was a foreign made blank. I am not an expert tho and would like to know for sure. Not sure how much mine is worth. Have thought about selling or converting, but will probably be lazy. ;-)

Will have to get out my cue and compare the black label. Perhaps it is different.

Oops, I was not paying close attention to the label. Glad you said something. The label on mine is not in very good condition, but it is not black. It is so worn I cannot tell what the original color was. Looks to be silver colored though.

Willie Hoppe

I just sold a 70's version of this cue which I've been told was probably made in Japan with an Adam's blank. It sold on Ebay for $360 including S&I.

I think your black label cue could very well be a late 60's version of the Willie Hoppe....nice cue ;)

I think you are right - I have a Brunswick Signature that has a thin butt and butt cap identical to your Hoppe, and a Schmelke joint. They are probably both early '70s.

It's also interesting that your Hoppe has about 1.5 inches more of the points showing than the older Hoppe's (including the original one in this post) - nicer, and also how many of the old Hoppe's are converted.
