Specifically, the Codemasters "World Championship Snooker" series..
I used to have either WCS 2003 or 2004, I can't remember which, and the PC I had it on has gone tail up.. One thing I do know, is that for someone who knew what they were doing, it was an incredibly fun game, and a good player can put a century break on the computer (I've had quite a few), and when you get deeper in the tournament seasons, PC players will put one on you if you get them an opening.
I am looking for opinions from those of you (mostly likely British) who have played the series and can give input on which versions have been the best.
If Amazon UK would let me, I'd just buy all the versions, and test them one by one, but Amazon's stupid *^%$ing policies auto-default to "will nto ship to your locaton" on a lot of items, for no particular reason. This software does not sell on Amazon US, and I do not currently have access to Ebay.
I'm just looking for modern (last 3-4 years) PC games only.. Thanks for any help you can provide. Once I get nailed down which versions are best, I'll have to find a way to procure them.
