"The anticipated duel between two of the world's 'money game' players, Dennis Orcollo of the Philippines against Yang Ching-Shun of Taiwan for the title: The REAL MONEY GAME KING is set on April 13-15".

But Orcollo's manager, Perry Mariano thinks his ward is not in tip-top condition........Who do you think will win?

Bingo:)

You know, yesterday when I read about the 60-70 racks, I said to myself, GOD, this guy is a machine. Then this morning when I glanced at the thread again, I realized that I often play nine ball with a friend, 4-6 sets of races to 9 and that normally means averaging 15 games per set. Well, that's 60-90 racks of nine ball.

So if Orcollo is practicing with someone else, it is not a great deal of racks. If he is playing the ghost or playing by himself it is considerably more reps.

Naw, 60-70 isn't much, considering it takes him like two minutes to clear a rack of nine.

So I guess we're talking about 2 -4 hours of practice time. Doesn't seem like a lot of practice to me. Maybe that's why I can't play a lick....too much practice time.

the article says he practices 50-70 racks per session. its very possible he does more than 1 session a day.

I hope after the Yang vs Orcullo match they have another player lined up to challenge the winner. Myabe an American as the next opponent. It'd be like a boxing match. No tournaments just long gruelling one on one matches. Lots of National pride, neutral venues. Who knows it might generate a lot of interest. Introducing the Undisputed Money Game King of the World...

if he's just alone, Dennis has mathematically great chances to achieve 60-70 racks daily.....considering that he spends more time on the table than on the bed....maybe a rack will only take him like 3-5 minutes to wrap up, so my guess-timate is that he is practicing between 4-6 hours daily.

It's not that many racks when you keep in mind the balls made on the break, and early combos.....etc

could there be a chance he practices full rack rotation?
