Ooh, is it coming c/o Manning?

Mine did and it was perfect.

I don't believe so. This one is direct from the Diamond factory. Aaron Berger is the guy I am dealing with. Although I have emailed with Heath Manning.

What was the price?

With all options factored in, including sales tax, delivery, set up, etc, etc.......$11,323.45.

I’ve got an older oak professional (converted to new specs) and i absolutely love it, personally I’ve had both a pro am and a professional and I think the professional plays better as in it’s just heavier and more solid but at the end of the day Diamond tables are heads above the rest

Congratulations on purchasing your new table
Hope you enjoy it
When is estimated time of delivery?

The crew at Diamond get irritated if you order anything other than Procut.
They will have lumps or debris put under the cloth, to get even. :geek:

Their website says League Cut.

Either way, as I've said many times, the Gold Crown IV and it's 4.5 corners and 4.75 side pockets are very tight. So if I want to practice on a tight table I can go down to my basement. If I want a slightly more forgiving pocket I can walk 50 feet to my upstairs garage apartment.

Congrats on getting the table but with pockets that big I wouldn’t have bothered. Lol I don’t understand people that get the league cut 7 foot diamonds.. you could have gotten a valley and saved yourself thousands 😂 to each their own though. It’s your money. enjoy it

Since my Gold Crown IV plays tough and has 4.5 corner and 4.75 sides I decided to go with the slightly larger pockets on the Diamond. It will have 4.75 corners and 5.25 sides.

4-6 months. Will be a long wait. Maybe I will luck out and have an early delivery.
Just something for you to consider here. As you may have read on here by many detractors of Diamonds, the shelf depth on a Diamond is a bit deeper than GC’s. If you don’t come correct to the pocket, it will rattle and jaw. It’s one of the things that most that cry about Diamonds note. It was one of the things I first noticed when I started to frequent a hall that had them and played on them for the first time.

The owner of that hall is mainly a 1 pocket player and also a Diamond dealer as well as owning a separate business with a stable of table mechanics which he had before the hall. Not long after he opened he ordered two new 9’s from the factory to come with 4 1/8” pockets specifically for the 1 pocket guys.

I noticed something interesting right away after playing on them after they arrived. Yes, the 4 1/8” pockets were obviously tighter than the standard 4 1/2” on the other tables, but the smaller pockets were achieved in the proper manner of sub rail extensions to take them down to 4 1/8”. By extending the sub rails to get the tighter pockets, it made the shelf depth not as deep as on the standard 4 1/2” pocket tables.

To me, while the pockets are smaller and stingy, the shorter shelf depth made them easier to play IMO. My point? A tables toughness is not solely pocket size, its shelf depth, at least for me. I find it easier to play a tighter pocket with a more shallow shelf. I mean, the center of the pocket is always the same size. YMMV

I didn't get the 7 foot Diamond.

I got the 9 foot Diamond Professional.

The 4 3/4 will play slightly tougher than you think due to the fact the shelf ends up being slightly deeper than a standard pro cut. If I were to order a professional again, I would have just got the standard pro cut.
Either way, if you hit them right, they drop.

Not going to be more forgiving!
