Ordering extra shaft

Thinking about getting two shafts made, one a piloted 5/16 - 14 and on radial both with plain black collars.

What's usually needed from the customer?

The butt and/or shafts of the cue to match it to or will measurements be OK?

Can customer supply own shaft dowel?

EXACT diameter at the joint. Height of trim rings. Taper choice, diameter choice. Vacuum dired? Air dried? Old growth? Weight? Ferrule material? Tip?
Are the pins in your cues dead center?
It's always easiest to have the cue to fit a shaft to, but if the pins are true, and you can give an exact diameter, that should suffice.
Some will work with your materials, some wont... Many have very different ideas on how long a shaft takes to be turned down.
