Here's the room I was in last March, ordered food didn't pay much for pool based on my memory. Trick Shots in Winter Park I belive.

Ill be staying near the convention centre

About 35 minutes straight up I-4. Not bad.

A little bit closer, you could check out Trick Shots in Waterford Lakes too.

It's not at the same level as Racks, but a decent place to go bang them around nevertheless, and they do run periodic casual tournaments.

Yep. Not a bad room at all.

The Waterford Lakes location is a little bit closer to where he's staying.

How is Backstage Billiards on I-Drive?
That's close to the resort hotels, opens at 3pm to my memory, has mostly furniture style tables but biggest negative is they allow smoking, if that's a factor for you like it is for me. I rent a car and drive north to non-smoking rooms if visiting Orlando.

After spending years playing on GC4 and Blue label Diamonds I just cant get excited about large rubber lipped pockets, metal castings and point counters sticking above the rails.

I'm way to far removed from the Orlando pool scene. Back it the day it was meet at Sportstown for a few long necks and then hop in Lee's Chevelle and off to Jimmy's or Spatz depending on where the action was.

I went to Buena Vista location, nice friendly group of players. I dont remember anyone smoking. Played one very good player, Ke Wu, the last day I was there.
