Just wondering if Orner Billiards is still going strong in the Indy area? That's where I got my Gold Crown IV years ago. Haven't been up that way for years and just thought I would ask. Sure were some good folks that worked there at that time.

I'm glad I saw this thread. I bought my old table (8' Gandy) in 2018 from a guy who custom ordered it through them in the 90's and he gave me the original bar cues and I've been meaning to call them to see if they would have any idea who would've made them. I cut two of them apart and made a cue, cut one down so I can make a 30" shaft, and have one cue I still need to convert.

A few of the cues are mentioned here: https://forums.azbilliards.com/threads/my-modest-cue-collection.537956/

***LOL, I typed the above yesterday and apparently forgot to his submit***

So to add to the thread...I just hung up with them and apparently the cues I have are Players.

I told the lady the situation and that I received the original bar cues - her response - "what's a bar cue"? LOL. Given that answer I'm not 100% sure of her answer regarding the cues but she did say they have always used Players bar cues.

My parents bought a table from them in 2012 and it came with Players house cues and they are really good quality. Good wood selection and construction. They play well and will make good sneakies when retired.
