Oshkosh, WI - Feb 17-19th - $2250 added 9-Ball Tourney

Lots of people signing up early. Not a bad idea especially if your coming from far away.

One week from today! (One week from yesterday for the $250 added mini!):thumbup::thumbup:

City Center hotel in Oshkosh has agreed to block 20-25 rooms for the tournament next weekend. The rate is $65 per night, just mention the varsity club tournament and they will be able to honor that rate.

This is the closest hotel to varsity club, it's approximately 4 blocks away on the river.

Their number is 920-231-0807.

The mini tournament for Friday night is now going to start at 7 pm to ensure we are able to finish in time that night. Also, we are limiting it to the first 32 paid entries. So if you want to play, get there and get signed up early!

So the hotel we had a block of rooms at was apparently bought today and closed down for 10-months worth of renovations. We are currently looking for other options. If you had a room at the City Center Hotel we apologize but they didn't tell us anything about this when the deal was made.

Ok.... Hotel situation.... Call the Super 8 at 920-426-2885. Two double beds are $49.95. If you want something a little nicer there is the Holiday Inn Express that has a rate blocked at $99.95 per night. If you are looking for a room I would book right away. Thanks!

$250 added mini starts tonight at 7. Already 27 players signed up and we are capping it at 32. So if you want in you better call the Varsity Club and get you name down!

What are you going to stream and when? I wanna see it, but I dont wanna waste a friday night waiting for something that might not be on.

You said Lil' John was playing. how about Lil' RAT?

Are there still plenty of spots open for the main event? A few of us will make the drive tomorrow morning if there are openings.

I heard 118 players total

I watched the stream late last night and they finished right at closing time. Dave came from the 1-loss side and won the first set so a chop was required due to the time. I'm sure both players would have kept going otherwise.

1. Gabe Owens
1. Dave Coles Jr
3. Gil Hernandez
4. Lee Heuwagen
5. Dennis Babcock
5. Tom McCluskey
7. Chad Beyer
7. Duncan Kaufman

That's all that I had a chance to watch. Don't know the actual payouts or rest of the cashers.
