Hi all,

When Ronnie burst onto the Snooker scene I thought I'd found a new hero to follow after the Hurricane and the Whirlwind here comes the Rocket an immensley talented player, right handed or left,he could pot the balls off the lampshades so to speak but his attitude stinks.

If Ronnie screws the nut and wins a tournament,I wouldn't be surprised and as he say's he has under achieved.

I think part of Ronnie's problem is he has a hard time living up to the hype that is Ronnie O'Sullivan. He's been very quick to adopt the persona of the over the hill champion and I think it's because he feels far more comfortable in that role than being the guy who everyone expects to win 8 world titles. But it's all in his head, the decline of Davis and Hendry happened slowly during the course of a decade, not a single season. But whatever keeps Ronnie happy and still playing I guess.

I'd agree with that. I think the pressure of being 'the people's champion' can take it's toll - it certainly did on White. it would piss me off no end if someone shouted "come on Jimmy!" every time you chalked your cue.
