Ronnie spent almost 20 hours on a pool table last weekend. Q-Stix has several good players based there and he spent much of the the time learning shots and cue ball reaction. On Saturday he played 9 Ball but on Sunday he switched to 8 Ball. By the end of the weekend he was running racks regularly.
He has suspended action for two weeks due to snooker committments but he plans to be on the pool table every day when he returns. The confidence he exudes on a snooker table is not there yet and he does not expect to set the world on fire in his early days. But I noticed that he has a respect for the game that he did not have when he played in the Mosconi Cup and the Masters all those years ago. That is good!
