It's our mid-season tournament, 8-ball on the bar box, our three man team battled through the round robin to finish on top and earn a bye to the Semi-finals. We go into the Semi's and win that too, eventually meeting up in the finals with the team that is chasing us in the league stadings(We're ranked 1 and 2).
After 5 rounds, It all comes down to the last game, he needs 3 balls to win the match for his team and it's his break...to my disbelief, he soft breaks , it's legal, four balls touch a rail, nothing drops and there's a huge cluster smack in the middle of the table...he looks at me and says: "Have fun!". BOY...did I ever, break-out, break-out, combo, shape...BANG! I ran the freakin table on him and won the match for my team.. Only reason I'm posting this is because it had to be the most incredible run-out I've pulled off in my life, not to mention at the most clutch time!! Just when you think you're down and out....whamo! You go and do something above and beyond what you're normally capable of...what a gratifying feeling, and a real confidence booster!
