Not trying to be a smart ass but why would you be here on a pool forum if you don't play pool? Don't they have a forum for whatever it is you spend your time doing now?

Actually, I used it about 10/12 years ago but I couldn't even remember the username let alone the log in details so just re-registered.

Quick update chaps!

I played the final stages of the singles event referred to in the OP last night. I got through to the final fairly easily and lost to the former pro I was alluding to in the first post.

I felt good, sharp, in shape but when it came to the final I had a little bit of "playing the player not the table" syndrome. Held him to 2-2 then should have won a scrappy fifth frame. At 3-2 down, I potted the white on the break and he ran out so 4-2. Was given a chance at 4-2 to make it 4-3 but failed to take it - letting the pressure get to me so lost 5-2.

Still... Loving the game still and feel like I'm not far off proper form.
