Oval shaped Bagatelle table

Hi Folks,

I'm hoping one of the experts on here might be able to offer some detailed knowledge about this table. I have a thread posted but it's in the for sale section and some of the experts might have missed it.

I picked this table up a while back and have asked many people about it but no one has ever seen this beast before.

It's a Bagatelle table with 9 cups in a circular pattern with (6) side pockets.

It's got a very heavy slate bed and it's approx 12 feet long and 4 feet wide.

It's intended to be played only from one end where the shooting end of the table does not have a rubber cushion.

PM replied. I was the one that took the pictures and did the inventory and arranged for purchase- repeatedly. I finally said I would only deal with Esa who was the one that started the business and actually knew something about it and the equipment up for sale. There is probably still a thread floating around from 2 years ago when they asked me to help sell it. I know Ramsey was using my photobucket album to advertise everything on craigslist- enough people contacted me about it to let me know. lol I hope you dealt with Esa's daughter and not Ramsey- it's a much smoother more pleasant way to do business. As for the table- from what I was told, it had multiple games that could be played on it with a mace or a cue, including snooker. Assembled it looks like a giant craps table at first, or a snooker table with oval ends. As far as I've been able to find out it's the only one in the country, since it used to be taken to the trade shows and setup every year, and nobody had ever seen one before. and only a handful of the small ones have been for sale in the last 10 years or so in the US and Canada. There is probably a book somewhere that has more detailed games and rules floating around online.

Yes, I agree, Rumsey is a bit stern but he loved his father dearly. He believes that his Dad collected a gold mine worth of high end antique billiard stuff. And not many people can buy the entire inventory. Most of it was a messy but still worth some money. And there are some diamonds in the rough. Most people don't buy loose slate and gold crown rails and worn out pool table mechanic tools and such except for Parts Dealers and they buy for pennies on the dollar. I got some of the best stuff and money did the talking. And I had to have that cool Bagatelle table and the (2) bar billiard tables. I drove by the other day and it looks as if they have moved out and the Brass Company that was next door took over the building. I'd like to discuss this with you. I will pm my phone number.

His dad was one of a kind- one of the best guys I've met in billiards for sure! I miss talking with him- that man forgot more than most table guys or store owners will ever even know.... LandSharks Billiards was my old company's name but there was already a landsharks billiards in California when I moved there, so A-Best Billiards was created- Will call you in a little bit. They did move everything to another location, but I don't know what was left. If someone took the time to restore all those tables it would probably be worth their while. There was alot of things in there I wanted for myself lol!
Did you get the Centennial in back as well?
