Ok, tonight was a first for me.
I was playing in my APA 8ball league and get matched up against another SL 6, so its a 5/5 race.
after the first 4 games, I'm up 4-0, with 1 BNR, and 5 total innings. Well game #5 comes up and I am on another BNR and i end up with a tough shot on the 8ball. After thinking about it and calling a time out, and thinking some more. I choose a tough cut shot over the harder but safe bank shot.
Well i end up scratching on the 8ball DOOOH!! and over the next 4 games, everything starts to fall apart, i end up loosing the next 4 games. I had plenty of chances to win over the last 4 games too.
Now I am over the whole loosing part, but am more determined to kick some ass for the rest of the session now. Its more of a burning fire that is making me want to just open up a can of whoop-ass for the rest of the session and tell everyone to take that!!!!
So obviously my question is how often do you get that fire burning after going through a collapse during a match or tournament? And it just lights a fire in your game and you end up just turning up your game a notch or two?
