done it several times and never had any problem.
i usually ship or ask to ship the items as a "gift" or "used", so i don't have to pay masive import costs ( mostly with used cue's etc ofcourse).
in average, states-europe takes about 2 weeks, and costs usually something like 25-40$ depending on what company u use.
never had a problem, and ive shipped preban ivory without any problems eather.
i would advice to always use trackingnumber for oversea shipping. At least if there is a problem, you will know if its a european or an american problem (aka is it the buyer or seller who can find the cue).
