Not much there.
Try PMing Melissa Morris on here. She will have a better idea than anyone as she lives out there.

On saturday nights Yucaipa Billiards in Yucaipa Ca has a bar box tournament. Smaller but fun. Master Cuemaker Ned Morris is usually there in case you need some work done or want to check out some of his work. Starts about 7-730. They also have a $12 play all day rate which is nice. 10 bar boxes and 7 9footers.. one really tight.

Riverside is a good suggestion but remember that nothing is really that close. Shooters in Riverside has weekly tournaments on

mon - 12 entry 9ball handicapped
Wed - same as monday
Sat - 20 entry and no handicap ( i think this is correct)

mon/wed be there by about 7-730 for 8-830 start
Sat -- not sure what time.

A little farther is Stix Billiards in Rancho Cucamonga .. Better
equipment including a 9ft Diamond.
Weekly tournaments on tues/thurs at 730-800... 12 entry handicapped
This sat Feb 27 is a barbox 8ball tourney.. no hanicap and $15 entry
last one had 38 entries.

I second the Yucaipa Billiards suggestion.
Nice place nice crowd.
I meet another cue maker there besides Ned, Mitchell Thomas is his name. Some very unique inlay/veneer work.

LOL Mitch was one of those weird oddball woodworking cabinet guys. He would always talk to me about how he constructed this to get that and how he needed to figure a way to angle this to achieve that.
I would just nod and agree.

He made some very unique cues and was a nice guy. He moved to Missouri a year or so ago. He is a good builder and does excellent finish
carpentry work.

Mitch made a Spiderweb cue for Jeanette Lee. I never saw hers but I saw his first webcue that inspired it. crazy stuff.

Thanks for the advice!
