Hi All,
I'm getting ready to put a nice Palmer Model G (with Titleist forearm) up for sale, and thought I'd run it by the AZB crew first. It's in pretty good original condition with the exception of the white and green speck wrap, which I believe to have been changed somewhere along the line. It has been a player and there are some handling marks, etc., and one shallow little chip in one of the blue plastic rings (1/8" x 3/16"). It comes with two shafts, one at 28" and the other at 29 3/4". One ferrule looks like yellow micarta (little hairline fracture has started, but not gone through) and the other is a white synthetic. The shafts are 12 1/2mm and 12mm. The cue weighs just a little under 19 oz. with one shaft and a little over 19 with the other, which is interesting because Palmers used to run to the heavy side. There is some rollout to the cue. Play isn't affected at all. The cue plays well. Points and veneers are in good condition, as are the inlays. Old style finish is getting a little thin. Looking for $1,200 obo and would consider interesting trades, as well... Thanks for looking!
